Gold Bar Whiskey is a luxury American whiskey inspired by the ambition, prosperity, and entrepreneurial spirit of California. Produced in the Golden State, the brand was created to celebrate success and opportunity through a distinctive identity that blends premium whiskey with iconic symbols of fortune and achievement.
Chad Michael Studio developed the branding, package design, and custom bottle design for the brand. Housed in a bespoke gold bar–inspired bottle, each expression features a double-sided commemorative coin individually minted by America’s oldest private mint. Embedded directly into the package, the coin serves as a lasting symbol of luck, prosperity, and collectability while reinforcing the brand’s premium positioning.
The result is a distinctive whiskey brand that stands apart on shelf through its unmistakable form and memorable storytelling. Further cementing its place within California culture, Gold Bar Whiskey became the Official Whiskey of the San Francisco 49ers in 2019, bringing together craftsmanship, heritage, and modern luxury in a single package.
